Thank you for your continued support for the past 25 years!
Thank you for your continued support for the past 25 years!
In 1999, my journey as an upholstery artisan blossomed into the creation of Abracadabra Upholstery Studio, nestled in Middletown, in the heart of Orange County, NY. My craft, refined through years of apprenticeship and family teachings, now specializes in the rejuvenation of indoor furniture only, from new pieces to dignified antiques. Currently I stay away from vinyl/leather, pull-out sofas, and recliners.
My philosophy centers around the art of repurposing furniture, transforming everyday items into unique, bespoke pieces that radiate with personal history and charm. Each project is a labor of love, a fusion of modern and traditional craftsmanship with the finest materials, tailored specifically for lasting enjoyment. I'm part of the National Upholstery Association and continue to refine my skills, most recently through a traditional upholstery workshop, led by master upholsterers from England and France.
For a glimpse of my upholstery work visit my website's gallery or social media accounts. For an estimate, please send a photo of your furniture to kasia@abracadabraupholstery.com. Upon agreement and submission of a deposit, you'll embark on a fabric selection journey, either independently or with guidance from my collection of fabric samples. If you're inclined to visit my studio, please schedule an appointment, as my working hours vary.
With warm regards,
Kasia
